That would be really cool if you could sync an Windows handheld with
Linux.  At one point I got my Jornada and Linux to talk over the serial
connections using with pppd or something like that.  I could ftp files
back and forth which was cool for a day or two...since I couldn't sync
with evolution I gave up.  

As far as the iPaq, you can put Linux on that I hear...HP claims to be a
sponser of handhelds.org, and if you just search for linux on ipaq
you'll get a bunch of links.  I would love to try this, but my Jornada
540 has some obscure processor (SH2?) and there's not much help for it.
