godaddy says that the syntax is invalid.

<rant> Welcome to the land of eternal nightmares.

I worked for a company that wanted all their trademarks (30+ or so as I recall) registered as domain names in every single top level domain.

Each ccTLD (country code Top Level Domain) has its own registr[ar|y] and rules regarding whether you can register a domain name there or not. Some rules include physical presence and license to operate in that country, or that the company be owned by a legal citizen. Delays of weeks are normal between exchanges and if you can't speak the language most won't help you. Some don't even use email.

Anywhoo, the place to start is here:

http://www.iana.org/cctld/cctld-whois.htm

Each ccTLD should have some sort of link at the bottom of the page showing where you can go to register "URL for registration services:".

Good luck,
