Hey,
I want to be able to use a microphone and record a long presentation
and have it encoded to mp3 or ogg on fly so that it doesn't eat up my
whole hard drive. I know it can be done because that's basically what
was done to stream tonight's meeting. I just want to record it to a file
though, not stream it. Also, how much of a hit on disk space would it
give me if I recorded it to some lossless compression format so that I
could then convert to mp3 or ogg (or both) later without losing as much
quality as if I have to convert from an original ogg/mp3?-- Michael Golden <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
