I've got the ISO's if someone does want to set up a peer.

Depends on where you are. I've actually noticed that my Bittorrent speeds dropped by a 2 or 3 orders of magnitude over the summer from here on campus. Probably something to do with the viruses that went around and OIT throttling packet types to control network congestion. I get much faster speeds from my 256 Kb connection at home.


Good point. OIT did say they were going to throttle a bunch of stuff, but not cut it off entirely. I wouldn't be surprised if they just blindly throttled everything not web and email. I wouldn't really blame them either.

So what we need then is to get the isos and set up a peer here on campus. I'm happy to try to do so, but it won't be until I can actually get something.
