Context. And not too much of it. As you've illustrated, top posting can
be done skillfully and correctly. But most of the time it isn't; it's
just easier to say don't top post 'cause most of the time top posting
isn't appropriate.

The fact that Greg was lazy and didn't trim is no argument against
bottom posting. If anything, it's an argument against top posting. A
person is more likely to remember to trim when bottom posting.
