Seems like I have a lot of PPC questions lately. Well I got YellowDog
linux netbooting and the install process going on this PowerBook G3
(upgraded to G4). The problem is that I see a couple of odd messages
before the installer gui starts (things about gzlib and crc's failing).
After installing a package or two, Anaconda just errors out and fails
the install process. I'm thinking at this point that the RAM is bad,
which wouldn't surprise me. Is there a memtest86-like program for
PPC's? I suppose I can put the ram in a PC laptop and test it there if
I have too. Any ideas?
