I'm looking to buy a 802.11b (or g) network card for use in my workstation.
I didn't realize there were so many choices. (pci, usb, Ethernet) I've
done the google thing, linux-wlan, linux-usb, gatos. Anyone have any
personal opinions to offer, good and bad. I'm concerned mostly about linux
support and compatibility. "g" would be nice given that my access point
supports it, but I don't want to futz around with flaky drivers. It seems
like the prism chips are well supported, but it can be hard to ensure you
get what you want. Linksys seems to be switching to Broadcom for newer revs
of existing products and they don't seem to be well supported under linux.
