It's not a demon. It's a daemon, and it's kinda cute. BYU isn't filled
with a bunch of southern hicks. I think worrying about it is being far
too P.C. If someone has a problem with it, that's their problem. Besides
they'll have to get used to it eventually. As Halcrow used to point out,
Linux is dying and will soon be replaced. by FreeBSD. (At least he used
to say something sorta like that. ;-)
