Thanks for the help, I ran into this yesterday. Managed to get through the problem, with the help that's been listed and from Evan off-list. Thanks to everyone, I've got the card reader working nicely and with ya'll's help I managed to get rid of the bugs. This is what I love about linux, tweaking to my hearts content. :) Scott
