I just got a new laptop. Here's my problem: 1600x1200 is beautiful, like having two screens. I find I now need a smarter WM than Metacity. I want something that integrates well with Gnome and lets me divide up the screen something like ratpoison. So, for example, I can start gnome-terminal and x-chat as a set. Gnome-terminal gets 2/3rds of the screen and x-chat gets 1/3rd. I want minimal, but functional chrome; thick borders are out, titlebars are in.
Any suggestions? -- Stuart Jansen <[EMAIL PROTECTED], AIM:StuartMJansen> âThe programmer, like the poet, works only slightly removed from pure thought-stuff.
