I don't think it was at all meant like that. But rather, if this list was
_only_ about answering questions it would get old. I think it's great that
one can ask questions, get some answers, and have an interesting discussion
ensuing on varying degrees of relevance to that topic. It makes answering
questions more interesting. I do agree, however, that it often gets out of
hand. But I'll have you note that when it gets really bad, almost all of the
ongoing posts are in someway about the thread being out of control or how
tired someone is with the thread or the discussion. My advice: If you're tired
of a thread, don't post to it. I think with this simple rule, we'll see a
decrease in devolution of threads.
