I actually just ordered my pda, i opted for the Zaurus 5600, it's
newer/faster than the 5500 and amazon is selling them for $280 so it's
cheaper than the iPaq and Palm that i was looking at. Also i found an
lds zaurus site that has scripture readers and a lot of church books
available. Also i opted for the zaurus because from what i could find
out the iPaq is really only good if you want to do extensive work with
word/excel documents but it is (relatively) slow and unstable do to the
bloated os it runs. The palm seems to be great for people really into
specific organizational tools, it's stable, and has a lot of software.
The zaurus on the other hand is linux so it will be easy for me to
become familiar with, also the calanders pretty much seem the same
across the three different pdas and the programs for the zaurus seem
enough for me. Also there is the qtopia desktop to easily sync the
zaurus with my desktop (the ipaq has a harder time doing this.)
Any way i am now just waiting for it to arrive and see if it was worth
it. Thanks for your input.
