Congratulations! That's pretty exciting. Hey, seeing this reminded me
that you are pretty deeply into Linux file stuff. Have you happened to
run across the code that gets the hard drive's serial number? I've been
trying to find out how to do that without using system calls, only using
the BIOS, and I figure Linux has got to do that at some point. Do you
have any ideas or pointers? I've been googling like crazy, and perusing
the Linux source, but as of yet, to no avail.
