Hrmm. I might have to put ET back on and lug my box down there. Anyone else try UT2k4 yet?? now that is a great game if you have the horsepower in linux.Yeah i would have suggested UT2k4 also but that would be even harder to get people who have the machines for it, also we'd have to play the demo since it's not free lit ET, and also i'd have to bring in my box instead of my laptop so that i could show off the Linux/x86_64 version of UT2k4 that it's running (so far the only mainstream game that runs on linux in native 64 bit mode.) I'd be down for playing either one.
Also are there people who have a plethora of computers around that are going to bring them in, i could bring two laptops (2.0 ghz running gentoo) so someone can use my extra one, and i guess if i was really cool i'd bring my two boxes also (AMD64 3200+ and Athalon XP 2200+) but i don't like lugging boxes around, plus i'd have to partition my wifes computer and put linux on it, but is there anyone who is going to bring extra computers just so we get an idea in case someone wants to come but doesn't have the horsepower?
