As stated on Plug.org (http://plug.org/archive/000010.html):

Following our wonderful presentation by John Terpstra, Michael Torrie and
Byron Clark will demonstrate the installation and configuration of a complete
OpenLDAP-based Samba 3.0 server in domain controller mode. They'll show,
among other things, how to initially set up OpenLDAP and seed the LDAP
database with users. They'll also talk about how to configure Samba to use
LDAP as the SAM back end, and how administer users and domain machines from
the LDAP perspective and use phpLDAPadmin to do this. If we have time we'll
touch briefly on printer setup, including automatic installation of printer
drivers on Windows clients.

They will follow as closely as possible the howto's from the book, "The
Official Samba 3.0 Howto" and "Samba 3.0 By Example" (if it's released by the
time of the meeting). In this way PLUG members should be able to set up
similar LDAP/Samba configurations in their own environments by following the
excellent guides and documentation that John Terpstra has
 edited and created.

There will be a Fedora Core Box that we'll configure to be an OpenLDAP server
and Samba 3.0 Domain Controller and at least one Windows XP box to connect to
it.

Please post any questions you would like addressed, for the presenters. This
will be a very 'hands-on', practical course following the concepts discussed
last month.
