Those are what dictate the refresh rate.
Yes, I do, which is what confused me. Computer A: VertRefresh and HorizSync values, and we're getting 1024x768, 32-bit color, at 85 Hz. Computer B: _same_ VertRefresh and HorizSync values, different monitor, and we're only getting 800x600, 16-bit color, at 60 or 75 Hz. So, I figured, either something weird was happening and it didn't believe me with regards to the VertRefresh and HorizSync values, or there was more than just the video card values that made a difference to the resolution and refresh rate. ~ ross -- This sentence would be seven words long if it were six words shorter. ____________________ BYU Unix Users Group http://uug.byu.edu/ ___________________________________________________________________ List Info: http://uug.byu.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/uug-list
