Me no like WEP - just turn off SSID broadcasting & use MAC filtering on the access point.
That's what I did previously - now I don't even bother to disable SSID broadcast. MAC filter only. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Anthony Vance Sent: Monday, May 10, 2004 3:31 PM To: BYU Unix Users Group Subject: [uug] WEP encryption in Linux Hi everyone, I'm trying to configure my laptop to connect to a Linksys wireless access point that uses WEP encryption. However, I'm not sure if my Fedora distro has any utility that supports WEP encryption. Any WEP encryption users out there? How did you configure your *nix computer to use WEP?
