Looking at the calendar on the website, it looks like we have an
installfest planned on May 15. That is the same day that XMission
is holding their install fest in Salt Lake. This raises a couple
of questions:
- Are the two events far enough apart geographically that we're
not competing with "ourselves"?
- Are there enough UUG installers who aren't also involved in PLUG,
SLLUG, GUBUG, UPHPU, etc. to be able to have a successful UUG
install fest when those other groups are already committed to
help with the XMission event?
I don't think I have any strong opinion one way or the other, but
the questions do at least bear thinking about.
