I have been doing dual-enrollment with my local college (Wright State University), which gave me my c++ programming experience. My favorite project was creating a File Allocation Table and Space Allocation Table for a disk drive with a B-Tree data structore. My prof gave us an option to use a hash table, but I decided to go the harder (and better performance) route. This is my second year, I actually started my job last summer after I was accepted into the Wright Scholar Research Assistant program. The Air Force Research Labs (AFRL) is currently in a state where a lot of the work force is retiring-age. This program was started to get younger people in the AFRL.
