Ah, another convert to the World of Blender. I bought a great little Blender book about a year ago. It has a big learning curve, but it's a great environment to work in once you're used to it. > I was about to suggest that the UUG have a presentation about > Blender, but then I thought to myself "Blender is so extensive it > should have it's own club." So I was wondering if anyone knew of a > Blender or 3D rendering type group local to Provo/BYU. If it does materialize, I would highly recommend advertising something of the sort in BYU's Theatre and Media Arts Department. I have several friends (including my wife) who have graduated with media arts degrees, and many of them are now working in Hollywood doing 3d type stuff. Yet another avenue to enourage Free Software adoption... Mike
