Hey. Has anyone on the list ever compiled KDE for HP-UX? My boss and I were talking about this at work, and I wondered if it'd be feasible to try. I haven't been able to find any real resources for it thus far.Yes i have done it and it is not worth it in my opinion. I could only ever get the older versions to compile and it was a _big_ pain to do it. If you need a "flashier" desktop than CDE or windowmaker then i would suggest using the ximian gnome depots that they have. It is very easy to set up and get working, and while it's only 1.4 (or so last i checked, they might have newer depots available) it will save you all the headache that comes from trying to get KDE to work.
