I use Gramps - haven't done any Temple Ready files but I enjoy the way Gramps works and when I did have a problem the guy that wrote it responded right back, with a fix and instructions. Seems I'd missed an update and didn't have a good install or something.
I have merged two very large files and had a lot of duplicates, it seemed very easy to get rid of the dups and go forward.
