I re-installed suse 9.1 on my hp laptop over the
weekend, and when I install my driverloader and try to
ifup my wireless card I get the following error, and I
can't remember what I did to get it working the first
time around. Here's what happens:
# ifup wlan0
wlan0 device: Intel Corp.: Unknown device 4220
(rev 05)
wlan0 warning: using NO encryption
ERROR: Error while excuting:
Command 'ip route replace to 169.254.0.0/16 dev
wlan0' returned:
RTNETLINK answers: No such device
Configuration line: 169.254.0.0 - 255.255.0.0
wlan0
