[uug] sss philosophy (was: sss cd -- a call for volunteers)

This has generally been my approach, both to limit the size of the iso 
and to avoid confusing people who might be experiencing OSS for the 
first time. (Although I think there may be some overlap, particularly in 
the multimedia packages that were part of the disc before I ever started 
-- and I have never bothered to evaluate them for duplcation of function.)
