The Software for Starving Students CD (2.0 beta) is available for general
testing. You can download the iso from http://alpinedistrict.org/sss/

We are particularly in need of testing of the OS X version, with the following
specific requests:

10.2 compatability
Testing of web links
General testing of all installers

Generally speaking, we're looking for quality assurance help -- if the
interface works. If you have suggestion on how the interface ought to work or
be organized, or what software ought to be included, we invite you to join in
the development process for the next release.

We do have one exception to the above statement -- this is our first attempt at
an OS X version in quite some time, and we're hoping to find other/better ideas
of how to handle the installers in a cross-browser manner (the interface is
HTML-based). All suggestions regarding this issue are welcome, as it's
something we hope to improve for this release.

Dave
