What happens when you run this command:

'modprobe snd-cs4236 isapnp=0 irq=5 io=0x534 dma=1 dma2=0 mpuio=0x330
mpuirq=9'

If that doesn't work it means that one of your settings is wrong and
you'll need to find out what your card is set at.
