Because then you start having crappy presentations like the one in
question.  The BYU ACM is a perfect example.  Most of their
presentations are advertisements.  If I want to watch infomercials, I'll
turn on the TV (and turn off MythTV).  That's why the companies offer
pizza--it's the only way people will come.

In contrast, the UUG is free to have meetings on whatever topic it
wants, and it's free to laugh at infomercialists with their pizza as
sodden with agendas as with grease.

That's why I have no respect for the BYU ACM, and that's why I'm glad
there are people like Stuart to stand up for my freedom to participate
in an awesome club like the UUG.
