I am currently working at Amazon.com programming C++ (and a little Java) on Linux servers. My group (payment services) and Amazon.com in general, have several openings. You can look on our web site and navigate to the online job postings to see the various openings. Before jumping into the interview process you should be aware that it is known as one of the toughest interviews you can go through, but I would be happy to let you know what to expect. I would also be ahppy to submit your resume, especially since I get a bonus if they hire you. They also send a recruiter to BYU, and I plan on contacting him and letting him know about the UUG. Would you guys be interested in having a programmer come talk to you about jobs and how Unix is used in the industry? Amazon.com faces unique technical challenges as the worlds biggest online retailer. Contact me at [EMAIL PROTECTED] if you are interested, and I'll also try and follow discussing in this list.
