these days, from what I can see, most distros are pretty easy to setup
with the ipw2100/ipw2200/ipw2915 wireless cards.  Whether or not you
end up with the ability to use kismet, etc, seems to be the only real
difference i've seen.

For those who are curious, the cards work pretty well on FreeBSD as
well, however I haven't had any luck with kismet and company yet... :)
