So I've been looking into a problem on a postfix server running on RHEL
4 AS. Life is good except for certain messages, from certain clients.

These messages are all from the uug-list (I imagine any mailing list
message that has 30+ addresses to deliver to would have the same issue).

The relay being used is email.byu.edu, so I'm seeing connections from
email1.byu.edu and email2.byu.edu.

What happens is during the SMTP session after all all the receipients
have been sent (RCPT TO), and the mail server starts DATA, I find these
in my logs:

maillog:
Mar 9 14:18:32 mead postfix/smtpd[4379]: 0B86EAB454F:
client=email1.byu.edu[128.187.22.133]
Mar 9 14:18:32 mead postfix/master[2367]: warning: process
/usr/libexec/postfix/smtpd pid 4379 killed by signal 11

and in messages:
Mar 9 14:18:32 mead kernel: smtpd[4379]: segfault at 0000002a162bb00f rip
0000002a9556f4b0 rsp 0000007fbffff490 error 6

All timeouts are at the minimum 300s, this transaction occurs in ~2s.
Maximum number of receipients is 1000.

Since it works for everything else, I'm lost as to what the problem is.
Anyone see something like this, as google is completely lacking.
