I’m not new to Vim, but I’m having trouble even thinking of what to call this to search the help for. I have a new (relatively speaking) copy of Vim on my computer, and insert mode is set so that you cannot edit anything you didn’t put into it in that insertion. I know that there is a setting to make it so that you can then edit the entire file, rather than just what you added, but I can’t remember what that setting is. Anybody know?
