I do the same thing.  If you're only installing 1 GB worth of packages,
why should you download a 4 GB iso?

If you're doing this over and over, you can set this up on a tftp server
and set up netbooting with PXE and kickstart.  That way, if you're lazy,
you don't need to type in the URL or select packages.

If the mirror is in the same building, it seems to go much faster than
DVD.  Optical media really are slow.
