I have a 2 x AMD quad-core (Barcelona) workstation at work with 8GB RAM,
and an equivalent server in the lab. Like Torrie mentioned, they just
show up as 8 proc systems.
So far performance seems pretty good, although I haven't done any
benchmarking on them yet. One thing to note, at least with the AMD
quad-cores, is that BIOSes are still pretty immature. If you notice any
performance or stability issues, that's the first place to check...
