At the risk of blasphemy, the UofU's surplus store is pretty good, open
weekdays from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm. Read the list at
http://web.utah.edu/surplus/ which is kept reasonably up to date (every
couple of days or so). The only thing to watch out for is
the 15 day waiting period on the items. Just check the date on the price
tag. Oh, and you might want to read through the whole list (and when
shopping in person, wander around the whole building), sometimes they
categorize things a little strangely (like Cisco network switches under
"Laboratory Scientific Equipment/Supply").
