Has it though? At the same time, email became just as popular without
making it easy for users to hand write envelopes. Correlation is not
causation, as we all know. From the beginning, tools were created to
make writing HTML easier. Was the ability to create Web pages with
Notepad really so important? On the other hand, all we have to do is
look at the consequences. Almost a decade later, we've still struggling
to undo the damage.
