If you're familiar with Google Desktop you may know how it indexes all of your documents pdf, doc, docx, odt, etc and allows you to do full text searching to find files.
I would like a web-based program that indexes files similarly when uploaded so that I search through them and also preview the document in the browser as html or an image (like gmail handles docs and pdfs). Do you know of any convenient open source packages that would make this system easy to build? AJ ONeal
