Folks,

I have a buddy with a video card with blown caps on it.  We're trying to
figure out why they blew.  He seems to believe it's a heat issue caused by
the fact his case is a low-profile case.

I've never actually had blown caps on any computer component in all my
years, so this one's got me stumped.  I imagine a more likely scenario is
something electrical (surge, voltage spike, etc.)

Anyone have experience and can provide some insight?

The video card is an eVGA GeForce FX5200 low profile fanless model, AGP.
The case and motherboard is an HP something or other ;).
