7:00pm Nov. 5th
Rm. 130 - Tanner Bldg

Are you sick of social networking and business networking? What ever
happened to good, old-fashioned, TCP/IP and ethernet networking? This
presentation will cover all the basics of networking, from the basic
ideas required to set up a small network to the more interesting
troubleshooting techniques required to diagnose pesky network problems.
We will discuss the protocols of the IP stack, from ethernet to http,
and some networking tools, such as netstat and Wireshark. BYU's own Dr.
Daniel Zappala will be presenting. Come learn the basics so that you can
enjoy our meeting on iptables on November 19.

The first 25 people to show up will get invites to preview Google Wave!
