UUGers, So there are still no meetings planned for this semester yet. I'd like to start lining up speakers for the rest of the semester, and hopefully a few for the first few meetings into the next presidency, so we can glide through the transition. Once again, I'm asking for topic ideas, presenter suggestions, and volunteer presenters.
MythTV I'm curious about a meeting on Linux Performance Tuning, but I'm not sure what that would actually entail. Speeding up your laptop, tuning your webserver and databases, or what? Maybe somebody at Omniture could do this one? I feel like I'm setting myself up for target practice, but I'd like to have a meeting about web development and deployment in a java environment. What services are required and how everything plugs in to each other to create a web site. I don't know many people in this realm besides the good folks at Jive.
