Hey guys, This may seem like a simple/common task but I have just never taken the time to do it. What I want to do is have a folder that is synced between 2 or 3 computers at home automagically a-la dropbox...but I don't want to use dropbox because the files take up too much space...(unless dropbox has an option to sync a file only locally on a LAN)...I really need it to be cross-platform as well, mainly MAC<->Windows but possibly to Linux as well.
I don't mind if it is just a simple script I could run on each platform either but just not sure what technology to start out with for that (rsync, unison, etc.)...any suggestions?
