Utah Embedded http://groups.google.com/group/utah-embedded Believe it or not, even C has some interesting things going on - libev for example (V8 + libev + libeio = Node.JS). (In fact, if anyone is willing to sponsor pizza and a space no more northward than TGP, I'd really like to *present on libev*.) (Talk fancy to me and I'd be willing to learn and present on libeio at some future point) And in the hardware arena there are cool things like BeagleBoard, Gumstix, and MBed popping up for which you can build your own devices which, of course, require their own drivers. (I have a *gumstix* for a hobby project of mine, and I'd be happy to*present *on that too) (I also have a friend who entered the MBed contest, and another with a BeagleBoard-XM) Anyway, if you have interest, please join.
