Hi uugers, For the better part of the last six months I have been playing around with node.js (nodejs.org). I am getting to the point now where I feel comfortable with it and absolutely love it as a platform. I have written an app or two for my job and am working on some other side projects with it. Its a blast to work with and it allows one to do some pretty interesting things rather quickly.
If there are enough of you who have either worked with node or would be interested in learning more about it, I figure we could have a little meetup on campus. For the uninitiated, I would be willing to give a short presentation on the basics, and then we could open it up to Q/A or some group hacking. So yeah, if you are interested, make it known here and then we can start throwing some dates around. Addison
