What is the fascination with short, obfuscated solutions?  If I was asking 
someone to write this program, I'd want to see a nice, easy to read, well 
commented example of their coding style.  At a previous employer, I used to see 
bad (even if it works, if it's not maintainable, it's bad) code all day long!
