Job description:

Morinda, an international corporation, is looking for a Entry-level Linux
Systems Administrator to work with the company’s systems engineering group.
This position will either be directly responsible for or assist with the
research, review, implementation, and support of various open source
technologies  The job candidate will also have a fair amount of exposure to
other technologies such as Microsoft software, networking, storage,
virtualization and other applications in use in the environment. As with
any IT position, the candidate will be required to be on-call 24/7 to
assist with issues. System management responsibilities will include
Operating System installation and upgrades, account monitoring, security,
and other administration related functions necessary to ensure system
reliability and performance. This is an entry-level position with some
international travel a possibility.  This is an excellent position for
someone who wants to start a career in administering opens source systems.



Requirements

  *   Working knowledge of Red Hat-based Linux distributions
  *   Basic understanding of Unix system design
  *   College degree is a plus but not required
  *   Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  *   Able to be on call on a regular basis
  *   Must be a strong self-starter and team player
  *   Detail oriented
