Hello, I have two questions:
1) I have some orthoimagery for King County that is saved in a NAD_1983_HARN_StatePlane_Washington_North_FIPS_4601_Feet projected worldfile. I need to project it to NAD_1983_UTM_Zone_10N. I have tried defining its projection in ArcCatalog, then opening it in ERDAS Imagine and saving it as an .img with a the UTM projection I want. It ran and created the .img file that has the correct UTM projection saved in its properties, but when I open the file in an ArcGIS map document with shapefiles also projected in the UTM projection (and in a UTM dataframe), they still don't line up. What could be happening and how could I get around this to get the orthoimagery into the correct projection? I have also tried saving the file as a TIFF in LizardTech GeoExpress View. Then, importing to ArcGIS and projecting the TIFF to its original projection, and then trying to change the projection to UTM, but the projections always fail. Do I need some sort of special software that will allow me to create a new worldfile? If so, does anyone on campus have this software that I could use? 2) I also need to use "Feature Analyst" software to extract features from my orthophoto. Are there any UW colleges that have this software? We do not yet have it at CFR. Thank you for any ideas you can provide!
