Our environment requires W2k3, XP, 2k, and believe it or not NT at the moment. But b/c of NT I'm stuck with 2k, otherwise I could have dumped that platform. I have UWIN running on W2k3 and XP, and had it running on 2k but the combination of software that we require clashes with the older version that actually worked on 2k and of course the newer version does not even install.
Long story short - yes I'm definitely interested - I had to switch back to cygwin on the 2k platform which didnt thrill me (I need ssh/telnet/ftp/vi, etc) Roger -----Original Message----- From: Joseph Kelsey [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, March 18, 2008 06:31 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [uwin-users] UWIN on Windows 2000 I realize that Windows 2000 is an old system, but its what I have. Anyway, the latest version of UWIN does not work on windoze 2000 due to unavailability of GetProcessId in kernel32.dll. This was apparently added for XP. This error prevents ksh from running and thus the installer does not operate. Is there interest other than me for UWIN working on Windows 2000? /Joe
