--------

Just a question before to install.
I've a win xp sp3 system with cygwin. Can I install uwin too without
conflicts ??
I ask because in cygwin there are services like 'init', 'cron' that run at
startup,
and reading about uwin it seems that here too there are these daemons.
So if I install uwin too, at startup could there be conflicts ??
or in anyway could there be conflicts installing both environments ??

I don't think that this will be a conflict. UWIN treats Cygwin
as native applications and all the progams that UWIN uses are in
differerent directories that Cygwin so there should be be a conflict.
The uwin init process only manages uwin processes.

Yes

I have both installed on XP SP3 without any apparent difficulty
