When compiling software with mingw's gcc and g++, I get failures of an instruction in '16 bit msdos'. My PC is a Gateway running XP at 3.8 gig with adequate RAM and HD. I thought the OS was 32 bit, so the 16 bit comment confuses me. Is this a peculiarity of UWIN, or should I be looking at the mingw software? Mike [email protected] 090305.2108
