I have used uwin on xp for years, then vista, and am now trying it on windows 7 32-bit 7100 build.
First I downloaded the uwin base 2007-11-05 and ran into problems during the install with error 256. Rather than run uninstall, I munged around and deleted any related processes and the registry entries. I then discovered the beta uwin-base.2009-09-24.win32.i386.exe (md5) uwin base beta self extracting archive I tried installing again, and now it fails trying to stop processes running in 'C:', and gives me an exit status of 256. I could not find any uwin-related processes running to delete manually. I tried running uninstall, but that fails due to no registry entries. So, I am stuck in the middle now How do I clean out what is left over and start again? Bob DiMarco Bob DiMarco
