1) I recently installed uwin 4.5 and found that a groff script that
worked on an earlier version no longer formats and prints as it did before.
The script:
groff -mm -Tlj4 -rd=$dte -rt=`date '+%H%M'` $1.$is > lp
2) Then I discovered that lp returns an error rather than printing to my
hp printer as it did before. The error:
lp: syntax error at line 1: `(' unexpected
3) Also, when interrogating my files with 'file', what should be text
files appear as ft000001, short text or short english text.
This has never happened before; is there something very different in
uwin 4.5 , or am I doing something very wrong?
Thanks.
